About The Blog
The Future Looks Like us was started by a woman who was interested in politics in high school. She lost interest when enough men told her the bipartisan system was broken and that it would always be that way. She let this hopelessness convince her there was nothing she could do but a decade later she's determined to do something. Join her on this journey to learn about how the government works so we can create a better future.
The Future Looks Like Us is a project with the vision of helping women, people of color, LGBTQIA, immigrants, and other marginalized people get involved in politics. We all have a voice that needs to be heard, and it's being drowned out and interrupted by the old, white male majority. Let this be a resource to get informed, involved, and empowered.
